To configure the Local User Inventory Policy
- From the Arellia Security Management Console, go to the Tasks *Policies *tab.
- Navigate to Jobs and Tasks / Client Commands Policies / Local Security / Policies.
- Select the Local User /Group Inventory TaskPolicy.
- To run local user inventory on multiple computers, right-click User/Group Inventory Task and click Run.
- Specify computer names and when you want to run (schedule) the User/Group Inventory Task.
- To run a local user inventory on a single computer, select Quick Run and specify a computer name to run this task immediately on a local computer.
Info Upon the completion of this task, all local users and groups appear under the Policies tab under Arellia / Local Security / ResourcesFrom Client Commands, select Local Security / Local Security Inventory Command and OK.icon false title Viewing the Local Users and Groups - Configure the Schedule (or interval) that that the Local User Inventory Policy will run.
- To choose the Target computers that you need the Local User Inventory Policy to run, select Apply To.
- Enable the policy by toggling the On/Off button to On, and select Save.
Best Practice
Configure the Local User Inventory Policy to run between 1 to 7 days. ----
