  1. In the Security Manager Console, import the "Arellia Management Server - E-mail Tasks" data feed (for instructions on how to import data feeds, go to Using Data Feeds).
  2. Click the Configuration tab.
  3. In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Foreign Software Systems > User Credentials
  4. Click the New button and then click User Credential
  5. In the New User Credential dialog box, define the credentials for the SMTP Server.
     
  6. Navigate to Foreign Software Systems > Foreign Software System Types > SMTP Server.
  7. Click the New button and then click SMTP Server Instance.
  8. Set the Name and URI of the SMTP Server, click OK


     
  9. In the Create Item dialog box, set the User Credentials to connect to the SMTP Server.
  10. Click the Tasks tab.
  11. In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Server Tasks > Email Tasksclick Workflow.

    There are two pre-existing e-mail tasks you can utilize: Send E-mail for New Approval Task, and Send Gauge Summary E-mail Task.

  12. Right-click the E-mail Tasks folder and then click New > Tasks > Send E-mail Task.

  13. In the Create Item dialog box, enter a name and description for the email task.
  14. Click the SMTP Server Select link.

  15. In the dialog box that opens, double-click your SMTP Server.
  16. In the Create Item dialog box, click OK.
  17. In the right pane, enter the following settings:Click the Report To Run link and select the report you want e-mailed 
  18. Navigate to Automation > Approvals > Approval Processes > Manual Approval Process with E-mail Alerts.

  19. In the right pane, enter the following settings:
    1. Click the Select other role to grant approval privilege... link and select the approver role allowed.
    2. Click the Send E-mail for New Approval Task link to select an activity.
    3. Click the Most Recent Pending Application Approval Task to select the report to run.
    4. Enter a From Address. (For example, "noreply@yourcompanyemail.com.")
    5. Enter a To Address where you want to receive the e-mail.
    6. Click Select... link to choose your SMTP Server.
  20. Click the Save button.

  21. The new e-mail task you created will appear in the E-mail Tasks folder.

  22. In the right pane under Schedules, click the New Schedule button and follow the wizard to create a schedule for e-mails to be sent.Image Added
