If you upgrading Arellia 7.5 or 8.0 to 8.1, you must first upgrade Microsoft SQL Server Data Tier Application Framework (DACFx) to June 2014 or later. Failure to do so may result in installation errors (see Upgrade Arellia Management Server below). The framework consists of the following components which must be installed in order:
