This document contains information about upgrading the Arellia Management Server (AMS) from a previous version to the current version.

Upgrading If you upgrade to the latest version of AMS requires that , then you must first upgrade some Microsoft SQL Server Data Tier Components to the June 2014 or later version. Failure to do so may result in installation errors (see Arellia Management Server Upgrade AMSRequirements below).

For To see instructions for offline upgrades of the AMS instance, see go to Upgrading an AMS instance that is not Internet connected.

On your Arellia Management Server:

  1. Open a browser to  http://localhost/Ams/Setup
  2. Click the Setup link.
  3. Select the packages to upgrade and click Install.
  4. After the AMS product installations have completed you will guided back to the console.
