Configure File Scanning of a Computer
- In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Policies > Arellia Solutions > File Inventory > Policies.
- Right-click the Policies folder and click New > General Scheduled Client Task.
- In the Create Item dialog box, enter a Name and Description.
- Click OK.
- Click the Client Command Id and set it to File Scan Command.
- Click Save.
- Identify In the Settings in the right pane, identify where to scan for files (which can be just the Windows directories or the entire disk).
Configure 
- Click New Schedule to configure a schedule for how often it should scan for files (a week or more should be sufficient).
