Filter
To access the Application Filters:
- In the Symantec Management Console, on the Home menu, click Arellia > Application Control
- In the left pane, select Policies > Application Control > Application Control Tasks > Application Filters
To create an application filter
- Choose the type of filter you want to create

- New or

- Clone. For information, see Application Filters.
- In the right pane, enter a name and description in the fields provided and configure the filter as required.
- Click Save changes.

To edit an application filter
- In the Altiris Console, click the Tasks tab.
- In the left pane, select Tasks > Security Management > Windows > Application Control Tasks > Application Filter.
- Right-click the filter you want to edit and select Edit Collection. For information on configuration options, see the table under Application Actions.
Note
You can't edit default Inventory Filters.
