The Password Disclosure Settings window contains settings that control how user passwords are displayed.

To Configure Password Disclosure Settings

  1. From the Arellia Security Management Console, go to the Configuration tab.
  2. Navigate to Settings / Solution Settings / ArelliaInfrastructure / Settings > Configuration > Infrastructure > Password Disclosure Settings.

  3. To change the appearance of the disclosed password, configure optional font settings.

  4. The Hide after settings enable administrators to configure how long the Password Disclosure window will remain open.

    Although passwords are often complex with many characters, administrators can copy displayed passwords to the clipboard for use later. There is no need to remember complex passwords. The time that the password is displayed can be a few seconds. Administrators may want to play with this setting to see how comfortable they are with how much time is needed to display passwords. Often display time depends on how many machines an administrator must control.
