You can use the My Filters folder to store the filters you create.
For example, if you right-click the File Types folder to create a new File Specification Filter. . .
. . .then you can drag the filter to the My Filters folder.
Or you can create a new filter by right-clicking the My Filters folder. . .
. . .and the new filter will appear there.
