By default Application Control Agent configuration options are not set to readily test configuration changes in a test environment. The following agent configuration allows for accelerated feedback when testing Use Cases.

Configure the Application Control Agent for accelerated configuration and feedback:

  • From the Arellia Console click on Configuration
  • Navigate to Settings > Agents/Plug-ins > Arellia > Application Control > Application Control Agent Configuration
  • Select Application Control Agent Configuration Policy
  • Set Send Application Action Events one minute.
  • Set Refresh Client Item Cache intervals to five minutes
  • Click Save

In order to show other file details, not just the file hash, in the application event reports a few configurations are recommended.
