New feature for 8.1 agents

The Arellia 8.1 Agents will send signed events and inventory to the Arellia Management Server (AMS).

If you want to enforce all events to be signed and validated, do the following:

  1. Open the the configuration settings (for instructions, go to Configuration SettingsSelect ).
  2. In the Product menu, choose the Arellia Management Server Server.
  3. Check Select the Validate agent event signatures setting check box.

  4. Click Save the Settings. 

 

Warning

Enabling this setting will prohibit 8.0 and older agents from sending events and inventory to the server. Only enable Enable this setting only after all agents have been upgraded to 8.1.
