Arellia uses data feeds to publish dynamic content to customers. Data feed content includes new reports, filters, tasks, and policies that can be referenced or used by customers in their environment.

To import reports, filters and policies via the published Arellia data feeddata feeds, do the following steps:

  1. In the Arellia Security ManagerClick on Security Manager Console, click the Configuration tab.
  2. In the file library in the Security ManagerNavigate left pane, navigate to Settings > Configuration > Infrastructure > Data Feeds 
  3. Right-click on the AMS Product Configuration Feeds and select Enable
  4. Right-click on the AMS Product Configuration Feeds and select Update
  5. After the configuration feed has been updated, click on the AMS Product Configuration Feeds 
  6. Right-click on the product you want reports, filters, or policies for (ie. Arellia Management Server) and select Enable 
  7. Right-click again and select Update 
  8. After the solution configuration feed has been updated, click on that product.

  9. Right-click on the item you want to import and select Download Data Feed Entity 
  10. Right-click on that item again and select Import Configuration Feed 
  11. After the item has been imported you'll be able to modify it according to your needs.and then click Data Feeds.

  12. In the right pane, select AMS Product Configuration Feeds.
  13. Click Save.
  14. Click Select Items on the right side of the AMS Product Configuration Feeds row.

  15. Select the Arellia solutions for which you want to import data feeds.
  16. Click Save.

  17. Click Select Items for your selected Arellia solutions.
  18. Click the data feed you want to import.
  19. Click the Download and Import button.

  20. Click the box next to the items within the list to import.
  21. Click Save at the bottom.

Update Data Feed Items

  1. Go to the Configuration Tab of the Security Manager Console.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Configuration > Infrastructure > Data Feeds.
  3. Click the "Select Items" link on the right side of the list item to update.
  4. Click the item to update.
  5. Click the Update button on the toolbar above the list.
