Reviewing Application Inventory

After the Application Control Agent has been installed, the solution performs an application inventory. This inventory is gathered by the Default File Inventory Policy and the Default File Discovery Policy.

You might want to view a summary of all of the Win32 executable files that were discovered to plan your Application Control strategy and implementation.

To review the application inventory:

1. In From the Symantec Arellia Security Management Console, on go to the Reports menu, click All Reports tab.
2. In the left pane, expand the Arellia > File Inventory folders.
3. In the left pane, select Navigate to Arellia / File Inventory / Summary of Win32 Executables.
