Self-Elevation
Self-Elevation was introduced in 7.1 SP3 as a way to enable the end user to request elevation to install or run applications.
To enable Self-Elevation:
- Enable Self-Elevation in the Application Control Agent Configuration
- Once you are in Arellia select the Policies tab
- Select Application Control > Policies > Privilege Management
- Select the User Requested Run As Administrator Policy and Enable it
