A provisioned user account attaches credentials, rights and passwords to a user, enabling or disabling access to specific applications and data sources. Administrators often need to see the password for a provisioned user account.

To Disclose a Password for a Provisioned User Account

  1. From the Arellia Security Management Console, go to the Policies tab.
  2. Navigate to Arellia / Local Security / Local Users.
  3. Find the name of the Provisioned User. Right-click on the Provisioned User name.
  4. Select Show Current Password. The password is displayed for a predetermined time.

Four columns exist with the following parameters:

  • Name
  • ResourceType
  • Description
  • CreatedDate

Password Disclosure History

The password is logged on all reports.
