A provisioned user account attaches credentials, rights and passwords to a user, enabling or disabling access to specific applications and data sources. Administrators often need to see the password for a provisioned user account.
To Disclose a Password for a Provisioned User Account
- From the Arellia Security Management Console, go to the Policies tab.
- Navigate to Arellia / Local Security / Local Users.
- Find the name of the Provisioned User. Right-click on the Provisioned User name.
- Select Show Current Password. The password is displayed for a predetermined time.
Four columns exist with the following parameters:
- Name
- ResourceType
- Description
- CreatedDate
Password Disclosure History
The password is logged on all reports.
