The Password Disclosure Settings window contains settings that control how User passwords are displayed.

To Configure Password Disclosure Settings

  1. From the Arellia Security Management Console, go to the Configuration tab.
  2. Navigate to Settings / Arellia / Infrastructure / Password Disclosure Settings.
  3. From the Password Disclosure Settings window, you can change amount of time that passwords are displayed.

    TIP

Although passwords are often up to 28 characters long, containing both alpha-numeric characters and a combination of special characters, administrators can copy displayed passwords to the clipboard for use later. There is no need to remember 28-character long passwords. The time that the password is displayed can be a few seconds. Administrators may want to play with this setting to see how comfortable they are with how much time is needed to display passwords. Often display time depends on how many machines an administrator must control.

Administrators can configure other optional settings such as:
  • Font type
  • Font size
  • Font color
  • No labels
