Reviewing Application Inventory

After the Application Control Agent has been installed, the solution performs an application inventory. This inventory is gathered by the File Inventory Policies---Default File Inventory Policy and Default File Discovery Policy. To plan your application control strategy and implementation you may want to view a summary of all Win32 executable files discovered.

To review application inventory

1. In the Altiris Console, click the Reports tab.
2. In the left pane, select Reports > Software Management > File Inventory.
3. In the left pane, select Summary of Win32 Executables.
4. In the right pane, click Run this Report.
