Analysis policy client updates

When you edit a Security Analysis Remediation Policy or XCCDF Profile changes are not immediately pushed to all clients.  By default clients are updated on a schedule. To enable and modify this schedule follow these steps:

  1. Open the Arellia Security Manager console.
  2. Click the Tasks tab.
  3. In the left file library, navigate to Jobs and Tasks > Infrastructure Scheduled Activities > Security Analysis > SCAP Client Item Update.
     
  4. In the right panel, select the schedule and the resource to which the update applies.
  5. In the right pane, click the Off button to turn the policy on.
     
  6. Click Save.

You can force an immediate update of client items by running the Update Security Analysis Client Items task under Jobs and Tasks > Client Tasks > Security Analysis.
