Are Arellia Application Control Solution, Local Security Solution, and Security Analysis Solution tested and expected to work on Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012?

Answer

Yes, all Arellia 7.1 SP3 products are fully supported on Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. All functionality has been tested and will continue to be tested. Any known issues will be added to this page.

Known issues

  • Using the Remove Administrator Rights action on Internet Explorer 10 causes it to crash. This can be avoided by cloning the Remove Administrator Rights action and removing all privileges next to "Windows Privileges"
  • On Windows 8 x86 the following warning appears in the logs and can be safely ignored - "GetLongPathName Request for Apparent relative path %ProgramW64W32%"
