Arellia Security Analysis Solution provides customers a way to identify security configuration issues and vulnerabilities to software flaws published by the software vendors. The product is fully based on industry standards, leveraging the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Open Vulnerability and Assessment Language (OVAL), eXtensible Configuration Checklist Document Format (XCCDF), along with many other related standards maintained by the Computer Security Division at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Security Analysis Solution is also SCAP Validated, ensuring customers that these implementations are accurate and follow these standards.

These open standards are embraced by a number of large corporations, military and other U.S. Federal government agencies and are used as a standard measurement system to help determine the overall health of computing devices from a security configuration standpoint.

Security Analysis Solution allows customers to import the same standard documents, along with any other documents of this format into their CMDB and perform these assessments on their managed computers. The product also provides ways to remediate misconfiguration settings, helping to keep these systems in compliance.

Security Analysis Solution, along with other Arellia products, are all based upon the Symantec Management Platform and seamlessly ties into existing Altiris Client Management Suite installations, providing a centrally managed, consolidated repository of systems and security configuration management capabilities within a single CMDB, providing rich reporting and actionable remediation to threats that affect your business continuity.
