Messages

Messages are the most common application action. There are two kinds of messages: Advanced and Basic. Advanced messages are the type that pop-up in the middle of the screen, requiring the user to justify access to a certain application or to warn the user. Basic messages appear as smaller pop-ups directly form the Taskbar area. Both are useful for providing feedback to users that specific application is being blocked or usage of the application is being logged.

To Access Messages Actions

1. From the Arellia Security Manager Console to the Policies tab.
2. Navigate to Policies / Arellia Solutions / Application Control / Actions.
3. Select Messages. The Advanced and Basic Message Actions Folders appear.
