Restrict malicious applications

Thycotic can prevent key loggers and other malicious applications from hooking into windows. 

To restrict malicious applications, do the following steps:

1. Right-click on a policies folder and select New > Prevent Windows Hooking 
   
2. Enter a Name and Description for the new policy.
3. Click OK.
   
   
   
   
4. After the policy has been created, set the Applications to target.
   
5. Enable and Save the policy.  

This policy will then prevent malicious applications from key logging, capturing mouse clicks, and other windows hooking capabilities.
