There are 2 approaches to file inventory. The first is to discover only applications that application control policies are evaluated against. The second is to scan all of the files of a computer. By default, neither approaches are turned on when Arellia Application Control is installed.
Configure File Inventory of Applications from Application Control
- Navigate to Policies > Arellia Solutions > File Inventory > Policies > Default File Inventory Policy
- Right-click the policy and enable it.
- File details will now be sent to the server for applications that application control policies are evaluated against.
