  1. Go to the Local User Inventory Policy
  2. Configure the Policy Schedule and Resource Target
  3. Enable the policy by toggling the On/Off button to On, and select Save.

Small Environment (less than 1000 endpoints):

  • Configure the Local User Inventory Policy to run between 1 to 7 days.

Medium Environment (less than 10,000 endpoints):

  • Configure the Local User Inventory Policy to run between 4 to 14 days.

Large Environments (greater than 10,000 endpoints):

Configure the Local User Inventory Policy to run every 14 days

schedule to meet the needs of your environment by balancing how accurate you need the user inventory to be at a particular moment and how often you want the agents sending inventory events to the server.
