Application firewall policies can be used to enforce specific firewall behavior for applications that have been classified by Thycotic.
To use an application firewall policy, do the following:
- Create a policy to classify an application (see Protect against Internet applications).
- Navigate to Policies > Thycotic Solutions > Application Control > Application Firewall Policies.
- Right click Application Firewall Policies and click New > Application Firewall Policy.
- Set the Application Classification to match the classification used in step 1.
- Set the firewall rules that should apply to applications with this classification
- Set the computers that this firewall policy applies to.
- Click Save.
