Arellia can You can set up maintenance tasks that will automatically remove computers that haven't communicated with the Arellia Management Server for 90 days. To use this functionality, follow these steps:

  1. In the Security Manager Console, click the Configuration tab.
  2. In the file library in the left pane, go to Settings > Configuration > Infrastructure.
  3. Click Data Feeds.

  4. In the right pane click Maintenance - Computer Purging.

  5. Click Download. (For details about data feeds, go to Using Data Feeds.)
  6. Click the Tasks tab.
  7. In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Tasks > Infrastructure Scheduled Activities > Maintenance Tasks.  
  8. After the data feed has been downloaded and imported, navigate to Tasks > Infrastructure Scheduled Activites > Maintenance Tasks Tasks.
  9. Configure the schedules and enable the the Purge Old Computers and  and Purge missing computers from AgentRegistration and Gauges tasks

Change settings

You can change the settings of a maintenance task by doing the following steps:

  1. In the Security Manager Console, navigate to the Purge Old Computers task and select the maintenance task you created.
  2. Click the Resource Purge SQL Executions tab tab.
  3. Click on the In the Parameters column, click the 1 parameter(s) configured  configured link and change 90 days to the number of your choosingdays as needed.

  4. Click OK.
