- Disable the "Disable Local Guest Accounts" policy
- Update the client configuration
- Navigate to Provisioned Users
- Right-click the "Disabled Guest Account" and select "View as XML"
- Click Edit and Scroll to the bottom.
- Change the row that has <row c1="501" c2="" c3="Guest" c4="" c5="64" c6="False" /> to <row c1="501" c2="Guest" c3="Guest" c4="" c5="66" c6="False" />
- Change the row that has <row c1="LDKKSnds+3" c2="" /> to <row c1="" c2="" />
- After following the above steps the XML should look like this:
- Select Import and Yes to overwrite the existing provisioned User.
- IMPORTANT: do not change this provisioned user using the GUI.
- Enable the Disable Guest Account Policy and Update the configuration on the client.
- The Guest Account should now be disabled
