Event summary and acknowledgement

Event Summary and Acknowledgement enables you to do the following:

• Review recent Application Control events
• Acknowledge Application Control events
• Assign them to a policy

To view the event summary, do the following steps:

1. From the Arellia Security Manager Console, go to the Policies Tab.
2. Navigate to Policies / Arellia / Application Control.
3. Select Event Summary.

To acknowledge events, do the following steps:

1. From the list of events, right-click an event. Two action items appear:
   • Assign to Policy...
   • Acknowledge Events...
2. Select Acknowledge Events...

The Acknowledge Event window appears. You can enter optional notes to be saved for reference later.

To Assign the Application Action (Event) to a Policy, do the following steps:

1. Select Assign to Policy...
2. The Assign Application to Policy window appears. This windows enables you to create a new policy based on that event or assign the process that created the event existing or new policy. This process is wizard based.
