You can create standard software delivery packages in the Symantec Management Platform (SMP) to deploy Arellia agents.

Automatically create software delivery policies

Automatically create software delivery policies by doing the following steps:

  1. Download the Get-LatestAgents Windows PowerShell script.
  2. Open PowerShell as an Administrator on the SMP Server.
  3. Execute the Get-LatestAgents script.
  4. Select the Agents you want to add to software delivery.  
  5. Click Download and Host.



  6. During the creation of the Arellia Agent delivery policy, you will be prompted for the Arellia Management Server hostname. Enter your hostname and click OK.

      

  7. After the script has run, navigate to the Arellia software delivery packages in the Symantec Management Console.

Manually create software delivery policies

Manually create software delivery policies by doing the following steps:

  1. Go to Software Download and download the needed MSI files.
  2. Open SMP and create a new software delivery package for each MSI file.
  3. Use the standard Arellia installation command lines.
  4. Roll out the software delivery packages to endpoints.
