You can configure general parameters that control the behavior of the Application Control agent.

To configure the Application Control agent, do the following steps:

  1. In the Thycotic Security Manager console, click the Configuration tab.
  2. In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Agents/Plugin > Arellia > Application Control > Application Control Agent Configuration.
  3. Click Application Control Agent Configuration Policy.
  4. In the right pane, type a policy name and description.
  5. Under Self-Elevation, select the Allow users to request privilege elevation of applications within Windows Explorer check box.
  6. Under Intervals, choose intervals for Application Action events, Active X events, and Client Item cache.
  7. Under Application Action Defaults, enter the Quarantine path.
  8. Click the Advanced tab.
  9. Click the arrow buttons in the Policy priority menu to choose a priority number that will determine the policy's priority in relation to other policies.
  10. Click the Apply To button and then choose the computers to which the policy will be applied.
  11. Click Save.
