Disk Defrag - Command line filter Defragment Component (dfrg.msc) not working

Issue

After selecting elevate disk defrag from the create application control policy wizard, or manually creating a policy using the "Defragment Component (dfrg.msc)" commandline filter, the policy does not work on the agent.

Solution

The "Defragment Component (dfrg.msc)" commandline filter references "hdwwiz.cpl" instead of "dfrg.msc." To update the commandline to "dfrg.msc," do the following steps:

  1. In the Arellia Security Manager Console, click the Policies tab.
  2. In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Arellia Solutions > Application Control > Filters > Dynamic Filters > Commandline > System Utility Arguments.
  3. Click here to Import the Defragment Commandline Filter .xml file.  
  4. Right-click Defragment Component and click Import.
