Create a Service Security Descriptor

  1. From the Arellia Security Manager Console, go to the Policies tab
  2. Navigate to Policies > Arellia Solutions > Local Security > Resources
  3. Select Security Descriptors - User Defined
  4. Select New > User Defined Security Descriptor 
  5. Type the name of the Security Descriptor
  6. Set the Type to Service Security Descriptor
  7. Click OK to save the new Security Descriptor
  8. On the next screen add the user accounts and set the permissions for the security descriptor




  9. After you have added the users and set the permissions accordingly, click Save 
  10. This new security descriptor can then be used in Service Hardening.
