File Inventory

File Inventory

This section allows you to create new File Inventory tasks. 

To create a new Client Job:

  • In the Symantec Management Console, on the Home menu, click Arellia > Local Security
  • In the left pane, select Tasks > File Inventory
  • Right-click File Inventory and select New > Client Job
  • Give the new task a name and description.
  • Select New Schedule, select the computer you want to schedule this job to run on.
  • Choose your scheduling options from Now or a specific Schedule and then click on Enter.

 

  • The new schedule will now show up in the right pane in the Task Status box. You can work with that schedule by right-clicking on the schedule you wish to work with.


Similair steps can be taken to create a new Client Task Schedule, new Server Job or a new Task.
