A provisioned user account attaches credentials, rights and passwords to users, enabling or disabling access to specific applications and data sources. Administrators often need to see the password for a provisioned user account.

To disclose a password for a randomized user account, do the following steps:

  1. In the Arellia Security Management Console, click the Policies tab.
  2. In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Arellia Solutions > Local Security > Resources > Local Users.
  3. Right-click the managed user name being targeted by the password randomization policy.

    Tip

    You can disclose passwords for managed accounts in the Resources tab as well as the Policies tab.

  4. Click Show Managed Password
  5. In the top left corner of the Password Disclosure dialogue box,click the Copy to Clipboard icon. (You must copy the password to the clipboard because it is displayed for only a few seconds.)

The password is logged on all reports.
