Event summary and acknowledgement

Event Summary and Acknowledgement enables you to do the following tasks:

  • Review recent Application Control events
  • Acknowledge Application Control events
  • Assign them to a policy

Acknowledge an event

To acknowledge an event, do the following steps:

  1. From the Thycotic Security Manager, click the Policies Tab.
  2. In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Policies > Thycotic > Application Control.
  3. Click Event Summary.
  4. In the list of events, right-click an event.
  5. Click Acknowledge Events...
  6. In the Acknowledge Event window, enter notes in the Notes (optional) field.



Assign the event to a policy

To assign the event to a policy, follow steps 1-4 from the previous section and continue with the following steps:

  1. Click Assign to Policy...
  2. In the Assign Application to Policy window click Create a new policy or Assign to existing policy. 



  3. Proceed through the Wizard to complete the process.
