Upgrade Thycotic Agents

This document contains information about upgrading Thycotic agents from previous versions to the current version.

To upgrade Thycotic agents, do the following steps:

  1. Download the latest Thycotic agents.
  2. Disable or delete software delivery policies that were installing the previous version.
  3. Create new software delivery policies for each of the new agents being installed.
    1. The command lines used for upgrading are the same as the installation command lines.
  4. Enable the software delivery policies

 

The upgrade of the Application Control Agent can restart explorer.exe. To avoid this, we recommend uninstalling the old Arellia Application Control Agent first and then installing the new Arellia Application Control Agent.
