File Owner Whitelist

File owner whitelist policies can be used to automatically whitelist applications based upon the owner of the file. These policies can be used to quickly whitelist already installed software in the Windows and Program Files directories. 

To create a file owner whitelist policy, create a blank application control policy and set the Applications to Control to the built-in Trusted File Owners filter or create a new File Owner Filter.
