LANDesk Device Query Synchronization

Arellia can connect to LANDesk Management Suite servers and pull existing computer queries into the Arellia Management Server. Those queries can then be used in targeting filters for Arellia policies. 

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Foreign Software Systems > UserCredentials 
  2. Create a New Credential that has access to the LANDesk Server
  3. Navigate to Configuration > Foreign Software Systems > Foreign Software System Types > LANDesk 
  4. Select New > New LANDesk Server Instance and specify the name and URL of the LANDesk server
  5. On the next screen specify the credentials that should be used to access the LANDesk server
  6. Navigate to Resources > Resource Filters (blue button on the bottom left)
  7. Right-click on the LANDesk folder and select New > LANDesk Collection 
  8. Choose the LANDesk Server and save the New LANDesk Collection
  9. Then you can select the Foreign Query to use
  10. After the LANDesk Collection has been saved. It can be used for Arellia Policy targeting and use the same computers defined on the LANDesk server.
