ActiveX installers actions

ActiveX installer actions are used only on Windows XP machines to enable standard users to install approved ActiveX applications in Internet Explorer.

To create ActiveX installer action

1. From the Arellia Security Manager Console go to the Policies tab.
2. Navigate to Policies / Arellia Solutions / Application Control / Actions.
3. Right-click ActiveX Installers, click New.
4. From the Create Item window, you can add a description and select OK.
5. To Select Resources from Available Resources, click Select on the following Settings:

• Deny ActiveX components
• Elevated installation
• Silent elevated installation
