Create a new basic message action

To create a new basic message action, do the following steps:

  1. From the Thycotic Security Manager, click the Policies tab.
  2. Navigate to Policies > Thycotic Solutions > Application Control > Actions > Messages.
  3. Right-click Basic and click New > Display User Message.
  4. From the Create Item window, give the message a Name and Description. 
  5. Click OK.

     

  6. In the New Display User Message Action window that appears, fill in the Title and Message that you want to appear.
  7. From the drop-down box select the Icon Type. 
  8. Enter the Display timeout (in seconds).
  9. Select Save. 
     

The New Display User Message Action will appear in the list of Basic Message Actions.
