Force new policy updates

New policies are cached for endpoints to download within 15 minutes. To force the server to cache a new policy immediately, do the following:

1. In the Arellia Security Manager, click the Tasks tab.
2. In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Jobs and Tasks > Infrastructure Scheduled Activities > Resource Targeting Update.
3. Click Run Now... to run the task immediately.

To force an endpoint to download a new policy immediately, do the following:

1. In the Arellia Security Manager, click the Tasks tab.
2. In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Jobs and Tasks > Client Tasks > Update Applicable Policies
   
3. In the right pane under Task Status, click Quick Run or Run Now.
   
    
   1. If you click Quick Run, select resource and then click Run.
      
       
   2. If you click Run Now, do the following steps:
      1. In the Run Task Now dialog box under Input Parameters, click Select...
         
         
      2. In the Select Resources dialog box select the resources you want to target.
      3. Click OK
         
         
      4. Click Run Task.
