LSS Policies and Tasks
This section describes the out-of-the-box policies and tasks available in Local Security Solution and how to Create a Local Security Policy. LSS policies reference specific client commands, and when you activate those policies, they get downloaded to the clients and are executed according to the schedule you set in the policy. These policies typically reside in the Policies Tab of the Security Manager Console. (For more information about policies, go to Policies.)
The built-in Local Security Solution policies are:
- COM Inventory
- Disable Local Guest Accounts
- Local User Inventory
- Randomize Administrator Password
- Shared Folder Inventory
- Update Provisioned Resource Client Items
- User Logon Inventory Policy
- Windows Service Inventory Policy
Local Security policies can be scheduled and applied to resource targets.
Arellia Local Security client commands can also be used in Tasks.
To get to the tasks, do the following steps:
- In the Arellia Security Manager, click the Tasks tab.
- In the file library in the left pane, navigate to Jobs and Tasks > Client Tasks > Local Security.
