Local Security Solution 8.0 Release Notes

Introduction

Local Security Solution has been able to manage local users, group membership, randomize passwords, and harden security on services for several years. The Arellia 7.5 Release introduced the Help Desk Console and the Arellia 8.0 Release builds upon all of the core system configurations that Arellia Local Security Solution is already able to do.

Requirements/Installation

• Application Control Solution 8.0 runs on the Arellia Management Server
• The Arellia Application Control Agent requires the Arellia Agent and .Net 4.0

Local Security Solution 8.0 Features

• Group Policy Enforcement - the major feature of the LSS 8.0 release is the ability to apply group policy settings to domain and non-domain machines
