Discover Applications

There are two approaches to application discovery:

1. Discover only applications that application control policies are evaluated against, either by:
   
   1. Application Analysis Policies - discovering applications that require administrator rights
   2. Tracking Policies - discovering applications that are caught by an application control policy
      
2. Scan all of the files on a computer

By default, neither of these approaches is turned on when Arellia Application Control Solution is installed. In both cases you will also need to Configure File Inventory in order to see details about the files.
