Message localization
Thycotic advanced user messages can be customized to show localized text.
Locale example
The default text for the request approval message is shown in the following screen shot.
If the user's locale changes to Spanish, then we'd see the following:
The translated text can be modified in the Thycotic console and all supported Windows languages can be used.
To add localization to a message, do the following:
- Navigate to the message in the Thycotic Security Manager.
- If the message is read-only, you must clone the message before you can edit it.
- Click on the Resources tab of the message.
- Click on the Add Local button.
- Select the Locale.
- Translate the strings into the new language.
- Save the message.
