Configure password disclosure settings
The Password Disclosure Settings window contains settings that control how user passwords are displayed.
To adjust the settings, do the following steps:
- From the Thycotic Security Management Console, go to the Configuration tab.
- Navigate to Settings > Configuration > Infrastructure > Password Disclosure Settings.
- To change the appearance of the disclosed password, configure optional font settings.
- Under Settings, choose the Password style, Font Size, and Color.
- The Hide after settings enable administrators to configure how long the Password Disclosure window will remain open.
TIP
There is no need to remember complex passwords–you can copy displayed passwords to the clipboard. The time that the password is displayed can be a few seconds. Administrators may want to experiment with the Time after setting to see how much time is needed to display passwords. Often display times depend on how many machines administrators must control simultaneously.
