Summary

Application Compatibility Action applies the dynamic application of Microsoft Application Compatibility Shims to the target process.

This feature only functions on 6.X OS Versions (Vista, Windows 2008, Windows 7)

After Analyzing application compatibility testing logs and creating an elevation policy, a new Application Compatibility Action is created in Arellia > Application Control > Actions.

This action can then be used in an Elevation Policy taking the place of the "Add Administrator Rights" action and will provide the process the file and registry permissions it needs to function properly.
